10 Hour Shift

So I haven't been as regular with my postings, but that's becuase I have been oh so terribly busy. Last night I worked (at the Gap) until 2:00am!!! I know what you're asking yourself, "what does one do at 2am at the Gap?" and my answer is, "far too much". I was only supposed to stay until 12:30 at the very latest but as I said I didn't and I'm still questioning whether they can do that or not. Whatever I did get paid overtime so no worries. Today is a day off and I just finished writing an article and now I'm off to enjoy my day. Mary is away in Disneyland and that's cool, her sister Sarah went in my place and I'm glad that I can just chill around town.

School starts on Monday, and that should be interesting. I bought my books the other day and it cost me far too much money. After getting this job and be involved in a lot more I get a lot more money, but somehow there's also a lot more to spend it on. Quite ponderous...

I decided I like growing up. I will be the first to admit that it's far less fun then carefree childhood but there's a certain joy that comes with not getting any sleep because you have to work late and have a deadline in the morning, I like responsiblitiy I guess, at least thus far it's been cool. I think it's all about learning that there's far more to life than having fun.
