Vendetta's Voracity Vanquishes Villains
Friday night: Holly sees a fantastic movie! Really it's one of the best I've seen in a good long time. Title? you ask. The movie was V for Vendetta which I've come to find not a whole lot of people know about. It's based on a comic, which much to the angst of a certain friend I have yet to read all the way through. I have read Orwell's 1984, however, perhaps my favorite book, and the stories are very similar. Think corupt totalitarian leadership meets which truth weilding super human. I wouldn't see it though if you'll find it difficult to get past improbable outcomes or the symbolism that truth overcomes all adversity. Once again I LOVED it, but then I also hold fast to my dorkdom and appreciate anything that prompts the intellectual discussion of absolute truth.... yeah, I actually do...
I give in 6 out of five stars. It was fabulous. The more I think about it the more I like it. Enjoy, but if you don't I DID warn you!
PEACE or perhaps ANARCHY, given our topic....
P.S. I think a very appropriate quote for this post was given to us but our nation's very own Thomas Jefferson, "The boisterous sea of liberty is never without a wave."
