Vengance is MINE!!!

So you wanna hear a story? There once was a girl who was shamlessly drenched by a "friend", in an upscale restaurant, by infantile means (click here for the full story). Well today that same girl saw her chance to redeem herself, and boy did she EVER!!
Let me set the scene. On the way home from an airport run both girls, placed on opposite sides of a decidedly emaciated nine year old, weren't doing anything in particular. Chatting, laughing, ecetera that is until that illfated "friend" felt the need to quench her thirst. She casually opened a bottle of water, brought it to her lips and that's when all went asunder. You see at the same moment the unforgiving girl on the other side of that helpless nine year old, without a second thought, reached over and squeezed that bottle of water. To be honest the reaction made the moment as upon squeezing the bottle the "friend" retaliated mercilessly. She choked for perhaps a fraction of a second, then turned and spit the water all over the other...for a second time.
So I guess all didn't go as planned, my shirt once again was hopelessly soaked and remained so for the rest of the ride home. At least this time she got a taste of her own medicine, she had to change too. Oh, well the effort was there and just you wait "friend" you'll get yours!! I'd start carrying around a change of clothes if I were you. Hmmm, maybe I should too, just to be on the safe side.

Friends & Something Awful
Mary and me at some unholy hour of the morning not watching a movie
Pic par Miriam Anne: This is Ben and Phil obviously not watching the road!
Mary and Miriam being...weird I guess...
Jeff, Charis and KristinWhile most of you are just getting accustomed to the blissfilled nothingness that is summer vacation, I have once again been thrust into the absolute drudgery of the educational system known by no other name than SUMMER SCHOOL!!! DUN DUN DUN!!!
This is my feeble attempt to not be in school for the rest of my life, but all I can do now is cross my fingers and hope that'll be the case. At this point (2 days into it) it's not so bad, but that may not be the case 4 weeks from now.
In other news I have left the Gap, to focus on school for the summer, just a little sad to say good bye to all the friends I made there, but it's for the best.
Anyway the above are some pictures, yeah you heard me PICTURES! Of some of the most awesome people I know, my FRIENDS!! If you think you should be in this catagory, but you don't see yourself above it's only because I don't have your picture, :( and we'll work on remedying that shortly! You guys are totally KICK*** well, you know.
**Those are as many pictures as it'll let me post so I'll put up more when I have some of all of you

Graduation Theme

So it seems that many of the people I know are graduating, either college or high school. This makes total sense as half way through June millions graduate every year, but somehow this year it took me by suprise, the idea of so many people that I knew starting new lives seemed amazing, but somehow really forgein, like it was some sort of new concept.
Related to this is a song or I guess it is more like a poem that goes to music, because the guy just talks. It was made famous by Baz Laurman ( he did the music for Moulin Rouge) and he performed it at a graduation. I really wanted it played at my own, but like so many things in life, let it slip by without doing anything.
So I will share it with you all because it is pretty awesome, funny and wise, incredibly practical and silly as all get out:
Wear sunscreen.
If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long-term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists, whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience. I will dispense this advice now.
Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. Oh, never mind. You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they've faded. But trust me, in 20 years, you'll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked. You are not as fat as you imagine.
Don't worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at 4 p.m. on some idle Tuesday.
Do one thing every day that scares you.
Sing.
Don't be reckless with other people's hearts. Don't put up with people who are reckless with yours.
Floss.
Don't waste your time on jealousy.

As of Late...

So I've been having a lot of fun lately, nothing in particular, but perhaps a new outlook. No definitive plans only a couple plaguing desires and overall my life's awesome. Like I said it really has nothing to do with anything, but I will post here a few of the things that I have done recently:
Saw: X-men 3 which I really liked. I have a request of all of you who've seen it. I don't know if I can describe this well but the mutant who claps his/her hands and sends some sort of shock wave or whatever when magneto gets to Alcatraz...anyway there has been some disagreement as to the probable gender of said character and I would like to know what all you guys think.
Saw: The Break Up and it was...good enough, it got kinda long.
Read: A Prayer for Owen Meany; the ending was disappointing
Read: The DaVinci Code, definitely a page turner nothing too impressive and I don't understand what got everyone all hyped up. I really want to see the movie still, but no one will go with me and I don't really have any desire to sit through seens of self mutilation alone.
Read: Farenheit 451, it makes sense that it's a classic. If I had to memorize a book it would be something by Emerson and the dictionary.
Worked: At the voting polls which was a "learning experience"
Did: Something fairly unscrupulous, which we will only allude to here. I'll just leave it at that.
Other than that it's been same old, same old. My last day at work is tomorrow which is good accept I thought it was going to be a week later so I have no idea what I'm going to do all next week.
Lastly This morning I was awakened by three small children jumping and squirming in my bed. We had some pretty deep discussions. After the oldest said that her favorite movie was Lord of the Rings the youngest, a red headed 4 year old pronounced that hers was as well and that she had every intention of marrying Gollum. Reasoning: she wanted the "pretty ring". It gets to us all at some point I guess.
